P. J. 費(fèi)貝爾曼 固體物理學(xué)家。1967年獲加州大學(xué)圣迭戈分校物理博士學(xué)位。先后在法國薩克萊國家原子核研究中心和美國伊利諾大學(xué)厄爾巴那分校做博士后研究。其后有三年時間，在美國紐約州立大學(xué)石溪分校任物理學(xué)助理教授。1974年后在桑地亞國家實(shí)驗(yàn)室，成為技術(shù)部門的杰出成員。1989年榮獲美國物理學(xué)會為表面科學(xué)的杰出研究人員設(shè)立的戴維遜-革末爾獎。
