人物經(jīng)歷

卡普拉斯1950年取得哈佛大學(xué)的文學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位，1953年獲加州理工學(xué)院的博士學(xué)位，師從萊納斯·卡爾·鮑林。1953年至1955年，在牛津大學(xué)查爾斯·庫爾森（Charles Coulson）教授的指導(dǎo)下進(jìn)行博士后研究。1979年起，擔(dān)任哈佛大學(xué)的西奧多·威廉·理查茲（Theodore William Richards）化學(xué)教授。
